You reap what you sow...

You reap what you sow. There has been considerable debate recently over the nature of hell, which is presumably what those who sow in the flesh will reap. A recent survey conducted by U.S. News and World Report found that 64 percent of all people think there is a hell. Twenty-five percent said they do not think there is a hell, and 9 percent said they were unsure.
The results of that poll indicate that more people believe in hell today than did in the 1950s or even 10 years ago. But most people think of hell as a state of existence, as opposed to being a specific place. That is similar to a statement made by Pope John Paul II, who declared that hell is "not a punishment imposed externally by God" but is the natural consequence of the unrepentant sinner's choice to live apart from God.
