A young lady had taken her children to the mall. While there the children became too much to handle so she told them to get in the car because they were going home. But in her anger and frustration she headed in the wrong direction and soon she was in the wrong section of town, a section unfamiliar to her and known for its high rate of crime. Soon, realizing her predicament, the thoughts of anger toward the children were replaced by the very real concern over the danger she and the children were now facing. Finally, after much worry she was able to get turned around and made it home safely. On her arrival a neighbor came out to meet her. The neighbor had been concerned for her and the children and told them she had been praying for them for some time. The two women embraced and tears of joy rolled down their faces. The lady tells the story now with a smile for after talking about what happened with her neighbor she realized that when everything seemed darkest was the precise moment that her neighbor began praying. We all have been consecrated to the work of God. It is our task to recognize the opportunities to do that work. -- Watson
