SHARING THIS WEEK'S GOSPEL THEME AT SUNDAY SCHOOL AND AT HOME

Materials:
Paper
Markers
Crayons
Scissors

Directions:
(When completed, this activity forms a non-stapled book from one sheet of paper.)

1. Give each of the children a piece of paper.

2. Help the children fold their papers according to these directions:
a. Fold the paper in half lengthwise (long end to long end)
b. Unfold the paper
c. Fold the paper in half widthwise (short end to short end)
d. Fold in half again widthwise, so that it in fourths
e. Unfold the last fold only
f. Cut along the crease from the original fold to the first creased line
g. Unfold the paper
h. Fold the paper in half lengthwise (long end to long end) again, with the fold at the top (standing up)
i. Push the ends to the center until you have what looks like a four-pointed star
j. Fold the pages to look like a four-page book

3. Have the children write, "What the Bible teaches me" and their names on the cover of the book.

4. Have the children write seven things (one per page) that they have learned from God's word.
