Children's Activity
SHARING THIS WEEK'S GOSPEL THEME AT SUNDAY SCHOOL AND AT HOME
Materials:
Baby food jars with lids
Alphabet stickers or markers
Stickers or other decorations
Directions:
1. Give each child a baby food jar and lid.
2. Help the children arrange letters on their jars to spell "forgiveness." Stickers or markers can be used.
3. Allow the children to decorate their jars as they wish.
4. Instruct the children to use these jars as their "forgiveness jars." Whenever they are tempted to hold a grudge, encourage them to pray about it, and then write the name of the person they were holding a grudge against on a piece of paper. This paper should then be placed in the forgiveness jar to symbolize that they forgive that person.
