Children's Activity
Object:
SHARING THIS WEEK'S GOSPEL THEME AT SUNDAY SCHOOL AND
AT HOME
Materials:
Toilet tissue cardboard rolls (two per child)
Paint
Markers
Stickers
Clear plastic wrap
Glue or tape
Hole punch
String or yarn
Directions:
1. Have the children paint or decorate their tissue roll cardboards with makers and stickers.
2. Help the children tape a piece of clear plastic wrap on the end of one of the cardboard rolls, then repeat with the other roll.
3. Carefully glue or tape the two rolls together so that the plastic wrap is on the same end.
4. Punch a hole in each roll on the opposite ends (outside, not the sides that are glued together).
5. Attach a length of string or yarn to hang the "binoculars" from.
