Every year Jerry Lewis has...

Every year Jerry Lewis has a telethon to raise money for the treatment of and to research a cure for muscular dystrophy. He always ends the telethon with the emotional singing of the song, "You'll Never Walk Alone." He means it two ways. If you have such a disease as MD, you won't walk without the help of millions of people, funding the treatment and research, and the hundreds who have dedicated themselves to the giving of the treatment and research. But, he also means it the way the words sound? "When you walk through a storm, hold your head up high, and don't be afraid of the dark.... Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart, and you'll never walk alone." And he means to say that even if you don't walk again, if you live with hope, you don't live alone, because you live with God.
