Moses was willing to be...

Moses was willing to be helped. That says a lot for him. When he was too tired to stand up with his rod, he was willing to sit down. When his arms got too tired to hold up the rod, he let Aaron and Hur steady his hands. He didn't have to perform solo. He was not threatened by a supporting cast.
That's a lesson for us all. We sometimes go at our tasks in the church as if we were the only ones who could possibly do them and any suggestion of help is rejected as casting aspersions on our ability or commitment. Yet, some pastors have groups that discuss the lectionary scriptures and hence help them with sermon content. Some Sunday school teachers regularly use their substitutes as assistants in training and delight when they can prepare and teach a lesson as well as the teacher does. There are all sorts of possible applications of support for a leader. It doesn't detract from leadership; it adds to it.
