From the New York Times...

From the New York Times comes the story of a healing different from the healing in the text appointed for today, but alike as well. The healing comes between two people aware and in need of one another. The one is a 50-year-old man who has M.S. and who no longer can walk or shake hands or pick up a pencil or sign his name, but who can still work, for his brain functions completely. The other is a young man who is learning disabled, who has suffered criticisms and insults, was unhappy and oftentimes lonely. He can't think fast or work fast and learns differently from most others. Together, these two compensated for the other's inabilities. Together they achieved good work, traveled to California and Europe. Together they were able to be productive in a manner that neither could alone. Mortals just like you, bringing you good news. -- Steffey Morrow
