A number of years ago...

A number of years ago a young man studying at Yale University was notified by attorneys that a rich uncle had died and left his estate of $3 million to his nephew, who was struggling to pay his way through Yale. Strangely, the young man wrote back that he did not wish to accept the bequest. A lower court ruled that the will and intention of the uncle must be carried out and that the young man must accept the money. Stubbornly he fought the ruling and the case went all the way to the Supreme Court, where it was ruled that the young man could not be forced to accept the money. It was subsequently donated to various charities. Paul suffered greatly knowing that his own people, his fellow Jews, had not received Christ, even though it was from them that the human ancestry of Christ could be traced through the patriarchs.
