This scripture wants us to know the source of the power. A congenital cripple is jumping around like gangbusters and we have to find out how he could do that. Where'd the power come from? From "Jesus Christ of Nazareth," that's where.
An old Chinese fable talks about the source of power. A fox was captured by a tiger. The fox said, "You can't eat me because the gods have made me leader of all animals." The tiger did not believe him but the fox said, "Follow me and see if any animal challenges me." The tiger agreed to such a silly thing and walked directly behind the fox. Of course, every animal they encountered fled in sheer panic. The tiger was absolutely amazed, and agreed the fox was the leader of all animals.
It's easy to remove obstacles that oppose you when you have a tiger behind you. That's power.
It's easy to overcome the overwhelming when there's a Christ inside you. That's power.
