When the great golfer Bobby Jones was young, he once asked his club pro how he could learn to be a really good golfer. The pro told him to find the best golfers in the club and imitate their swings. "Just do what they do," he said, "and you'll improve."
Like many young golfers, Bobby Jones used to caddy during the summer. So, remembering his pro's advice, he found out when the best golfers were teeing off and hung around hoping to caddy for them. On the course, Bobby would study their swings and try to imitate them later on the practice range.
Imitating the best, in faith or in golf, will lead to excellence.
