A young man new to...

A young man new to the faith didn't understand that "shouting from the rooftops" was merely a metaphor for telling good news, so he climbed up onto his roof and began to shout from the rooftop. It wasn't long before someone called the police.
When the police arrived they saw what appeared to them to be a disturbed man on his roof shouting about how he was going to meet Jesus. When the police got him down, the young man tried to explain that he wasn't crazy, he was just full of the Holy Spirit. All he wanted to do was to tell the world of Jesus Christ and the salvation he offered.
The officers all agreed that this was a good thing, but still they took him away for psychiatric evaluation. After seeing something like this, it is pretty clear why people don't shout from their rooftops anymore.
The Bible says that there are better ways to tell the good news.
