Call To Worship
Leader: Come, let all of God's people give praise and worship the Lord!
People: For we were once in darkness but God has sent us the Light.
Leader: And we are to take God's Light into all of the world,
People: That others should no longer be in darkness but receive God's Light.
Leader: Let us celebrate our mission and let us always give God the praise.
All: Blessed be the name of the Lord!
Collect
O God, we are so grateful You have opened the door for us to be a part of Your kingdom and ministry in our world today. Soften our hearts that You might use us freely. In Christ we pray. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Lord, so often we have taken for granted the wonderful mission You gave each one of us as we became a part of Your church. Too often our days have returned to the mundane and we have lost sight of our commission to take Your Light into the darkness wherever we find it. Forgive us, Lord, and restore our passion to serve and live for You. In Christ we pray. Amen.
Hymns
"Breathe On Me, Breath Of God"
"O For A Thousand Tongues To Sing"
"Nearer, My God, To Thee"
Epiphany

Call To Worship
Leader: Come! Let the believers from every nation gather to worship the Lord.
People: Are all nations welcome in the house of the Lord?
Leader: In Christ, all peoples from every nation are made welcome!
People: Are there not Jew and Gentile, each in their own place?
Leader: In Christ there is no east or west and all peoples are beloved of God.
All: Blessed be the name of the Lord!
Collect
O God, in Christ You gave us such a wonderful blessing as You taught us love and acceptance and not the ways of hatred and division. Give us the strength to follow You, Lord. In Christ we pray. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
O God, so often we have chosen to follow the ways of the world as we look at others who are different from ourselves, and deep in our hearts we fail to love and accept them. Lord, forgive us and help us to reach out and accept others and realize we are all Your children for whom Jesus died on the Cross so we might each one know God's love. In Christ we pray. Amen.
Hymns
"All Creatures Of Our God And King"
"Come, Holy Ghost, Our Hearts Inspire"
"Blest Be The Tie That Binds"
Epiphany
Gospel: Matthew 2:1-12

Call To Worship
Leader: Come let us know the Lord God Almighty is present this day!
People: We heard the Good News in the birth of our Lord.
Leader: Even the stars in the heavens announced the birth of Jesus.
People: Christ was sent that we might all know of God's love and grace.
Leader: Then let us proclaim the birth of Christ for all the world to hear!
All: Blessed be the name of the Lord!
Collect
O God, You have called us to spread Your Gospel in the world today. In Christ, You showed us through a single life the love You meant for us to share. Help us share it, Lord. In Christ we pray. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Lord, so often amid the rush and turmoil of the Christmas season we hear the glory of Your birth and we take it for granted. Too often we hear of the miracle of Your coming and we hardly slow down to take notice. Forgive us, Lord, and touch our hearts today with the true meaning of Your birth that we might proclaim it in all the world. In Christ we pray. Amen.
Hymns
"Heaven Came Down And Glory Filled My Soul"
"God Sent His Son"
"He Is Lord, He Is Lord"
