Call To Worship
On All Saints' Sunday, we remember the holy ones. The meaning of night dreams and visions need not concern them. They need not trouble about their future. Because they are holy, they will receive and enjoy God's realm forever. Let us remember the holy ones.
Collect
We are thankful this day, O God, for the faithful who refuse to ignore your call. We are thankful for their persistence and for their endurance. We are grateful for their works toward furthering peace and justice in this world. Thank you, O God, for the faithful, holy ones. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Dear God, let us keep in mind the spiritual stamina of the holy ones. Guide us so we might follow a similar path of faithfulness in our work. Let our hearts be gentle and persuasive. Let our songs be songs of faith. Amen.

Call To Worship
Leader: God's power is at work in us when we show our love for someone in little ways,
People: When the way we are with others gives the message that we care about their well being.
Leader: God's power is at work in us when we help to carry another's load,
People: God's power is at work when we notice that we are all on a noble, though sometimes lonely, journey.
Collect
On this day that honors all saints, those of long ago and those living now, our prayer is to know the hope to which God has called each of us. Let us listen for, and listen to, this hope so as to follow it with all our might and with all our persistence. Because of Christ. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
I thought I would have to be perfect, God, to be a saint. You show me I need only keep trying to be a decent person. I thought saints were bigger-than-life human beings. You reveal they are usual, regular people who work at putting their hope in Christ. Be with us, O God, throughout our times of trying. Amen.

Leader: What is the "now" of your life like -- without memory of the past or vision of the future? What is your relationship with others today?
People: Let us lift up today all who are hated, poor, hungry, in sorrow, excluded, or maligned because they have chosen to live a right life -- because God will lift up these persons, one by one, in God's time.
Leader: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.
People: Let us treat others today as we would have them treat us.
Collect
Great Creator, we choose to be hope in a world filled with hopelessness. We would be love in a world filled with hatred. Help us to bring good in a world that steals vitality from the lives of others. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Leader: When we act in the moment, God, we may be acting out of grouchiness with little concern for the person we hurt.
All: Forgive us, Gracious God, for being self-almighty.
Leader: When we act with careful plot, our plan might contain another design, were we its object.
All: Forgive us, Saving God, for conniving for a wrong reason that tears down another.
Leader: Hear our prayers, O God, and help us to be better people.
All: Amen.
