Series VI, Cycle A
Object:
Theme: The Passover
Call To Worship
The loud hosannas of Sunday have faded into oblivion. Jesus has gathered his disciples for the Passover Feast. Let us now join in that event of remembrance.
Invocation
Lord, we gather at your table as did your disciples so long ago. Open our eyes that we may see our role as servants. Open our mouths that we may praise you for your victory over sin and death. Open our hearts that we may welcome your presence in our lives. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
Confession
Merciful God, we confess that like Judas we have betrayed you for the sake of material gain. Like Peter we have denied you rather than sharing our faith in you. By your Spirit make us to be faithful disciples, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Offertory Prayer
Lord, in response to your love which is so amazing, so divine, we offer you our souls, our lives, our all. Amen.
Hymns
"Here, O My Lord, I See Thee"
"For The Bread Which You Have Broken"
"Just As I Am, Without One Plea"
