Pastor: On the night before he died, to the government betrayed, at his people's freedom meal, Jesus broke the bread, and said,
People: "Take and eat my broken self. Share in all I say and do. Though I go, I shall return: God is making all things new."
Pastor: When the meal was nearly done, and his blood would soon be shed, Jesus lifted up the cup, "All must drink of this," he said,
People: "When the powers of earth prevail and my blood is shed for you, taste the sign within the wine: God is making all things new."
Pastor: Go in peace to love and serve our God.
All: Amen.
Please leave the sanctuary in silence.
