Call To Worship (based on Colossians 2:6-10)
One: As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your lives in him,
All: ... rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
One: See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the universe, and not according to Christ.
All: For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to fullness in him, who is the head of every ruler and authority.

We gather, Lord, in gratitude for your boundless forgiveness and your will to transform us in glory. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that you are the source of the faith that we share. It is your gift to us, and not our own creation. You are the author of all that lives and moves and breathes. Today we come together to proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord. We gather together not because of shared interests or social standing but because we are one body in Christ. Bind our hearts together in this purpose, that we might praise your name and call others into this body. We bless your holy name. Amen.
