Call To Worship
Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Come, let us worship together. Let us call upon the name of the Lord, our Redeemer. Let us sing praises to the God of our salvation, and offer up our prayers of thanksgiving.
Invocation
O Eternal God, speak to each of us the word that we need, and let your Word abide with us until it has wrought in us your holy will. Cleanse, quicken, and refresh our hearts; direct and increase our faith. Grant that we, by our worship at this time, may be enabled to see you more clearly, to love you more fully, and to serve you more perfectly; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Confession
Lord, we hear the words: "Faith comes from what is heard; and what is heard comes through the word of Jesus Christ." Yes, and we nod our heads in assent when we hear: "How are they to believe in one of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone to proclaim him?" But we have been slow to respond to the call to be one of those messengers. Send your Spirit upon us, Lord, that we may be counted among your faithful messengers of the Good News. Amen.
Offertory Prayer
O Lord, as we open our treasures and present our offerings, we pray that you will use them to proclaim the good news that we have received and desire for all people everywhere to hear and believe. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Hymns
"Pass It On"
"How Shall They Hear The Word Of God"
"We've A Story To Tell To The Nations"
