Theme: Rewards
Call To Worship
In the name of Christ, I bid you welcome. In the name of Christ, God welcomes you. In the name of Christ, we welcome the strangers in our midst. In the name of Christ, we must all welcome one another.
Invocation
O Lord, Jesus Christ, make us conscious now of your healing mercies. Touch our eyes that we may see you; open our ears that we may hear your voice; enter our hearts that we may know your love. Overshadow our souls and bodies with your presence, that we may partake of your strength, your love, and your healing life so that we may go forth from this time of worship to witness to the world your great love. Amen.
Confession
Almighty God, we confess that we have not loved you with all our hearts and minds and souls and strengths, nor have we loved our neighbors as ourselves. Forgive us, we pray, and by the power of your Spirit enable us to show forth your love as we welcome those we meet this week. Amen.
Offertory Prayer
Lord, we bring these gifts not to receive rewards or recognition, but that they might do good. This is our way of reaching out with the love of Christ to our neighbors near and far. Amen.
Hymns
"Where Cross The Crowded Ways Of Life"
"O Master, Let Me Walk With Thee"
"This Is My Song"
