Series VII, Cycle C
Object:
First Lesson: Jeremiah 31:31-34
Theme: The New In The Heart Of The Old
Call To Worship
Behold, sisters and brothers, God makes all things new. In the heart of the old covenant we find the soul of the new. Take hold of the life that is offered to us, people of God.
Collect
Thank you, Lord, for this worshiping people who share with us our love of the grace that sets us free. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Heavenly Father, we praise you for your gospel of grace, and confess that we have clung to the law, especially when it condemns others. We see the mote in another's eye but ignore the log in ours. You are Lord, and no other. We are your servants, who willingly choose grace and salvation for all. Amen.
