Leader: Sing to the Lord, all the earth.
People: Tell of his salvation from day to day.

All: For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised.
Invocation
Inspire us, O Lord God of all the earth, not only to sing to you, but also to tell of your salvation from day to day. Prepare us in this hour to declare your glory to our neighbor next door and to our neighbors across the ocean, affirming that indeed you do marvelous saving works, and that you are greatly to be praised and sincerely to be revered. Amen.
Confession
Almighty God, Lord of the universe, you have called us to proclaim the good news of your salvation to all the world, but we have found plenty of excuses to be content in our own little circle of friends. We have found it more comfortable to expect you to intervene and straighten out the world than to become involved ourselves. Forgive us, Lord, as we wait upon you to renew our strength, with hands and hearts ready to serve you now. Amen.
Offertory Prayer
Receive these gifts, Lord, with our prayer that they will be effective in proclaiming your Word and expressing your love to people who live close by and to people who live far away. Amen.
