Series V, Cycle C
Call To Worship
Leader: Take courage and work.
People: Work, for God is with us.
All: Let us work in full courage, because God's spirit remains among us.
Collect
O God, who works where we work, you know our everyday life. You understand the grind of toil, the repetitious boredom, and the cusp of work relationships. We are grateful, O God, that you pull us out of the muck, nudge us on, and lead us forward. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Because we cannot touch you with our hands, O God, we question your reality. Give to us the strength of your nearness so we might recognize you and work our work with courage. Where you ask us to demolish, let us labor to clear the area. Where you call us to rebuild, O God, let us strive to erect. Through your Holy Spirit. Amen.

Call To Worship
We try to describe God in terms of what we know. God is more than we can understand. We attempt to define life after earthly death according to earthly rules. We will not find out how it is until later. To God, all are the living, both those who are alive now and those who have stepped beyond. This is the truth that we can hold on to. God is God of all who live.
Collect
You, O generous Creator, continue to fill us with the mysteries of your creation. Teach us that we do not have to comprehend everything about you before we can trust your word. Through the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Would you come to us, O God, in terms that we can know? Would you come in a sign that is clear to us of your love for us. Would you come as something touchable? Would you come, God? Amen.
62C Hymns
"Glorious Things Of [Thee][You] Are Spoken" Tune: AUSTRIA[N] HYMN
"Come, We That Love The Lord," "Oh, Bless The Lord, My Soul," "O Saints In Splendor Sing," or "We Love [Thy][Your] [Kingdom] [Realm], O [God][Lord]" Tune: ST. THOMAS
"Now Thank We All Our God" Tune: NUN DANKET
