One:
The poor shall eat and be satisfied; those who seek him shall praise the Lord. May your hearts live forever!
All:
All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord; and all the families of the nations shall worship before him. For dominion belongs to the Lord, and he rules over the nations.
Collect (based on Joel 2:26)
May we eat in plenty and be satisfied, for you, Lord, have dealt bountifully with us. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
All your gifts we lift up to you at this time, and so great is your bounty that it takes all of us to catalog your goodness! Let us never forget your abiding in our presence, and in your abundance, both in times of prosperity and poverty. Where you are, we must be. Amen.
Hymns
We Gather Together
All Creatures Of Our God And King

Thanksgiving Day
Second Lesson: 1 Timothy 2:1-7

Call To Worship (Psalm 93)
The Lord is king, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed, he is girded with strength. He has established the world; it shall never be moved; your throne is established from of old; you are from everlasting.
The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their roaring.
More majestic than the thunders of mighty waters, more majestic than the waves of the sea, majestic on high is the Lord!
Your decrees are very sure; holiness befits your house, O Lord, forevermore.
Collect
God of all gifts, we gather together with grateful hearts. We lift up our voices in word and song. We have so much to thank you for. As we gather together, let us forget none of it. Our hope and desire is that you will continue to call us together as your worshiping people, receiving our thanks and granting us blessings now and forevermore. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession (based on 1 Timothy 2:5-6)
We confess this day that there is one God, and one mediator between God and humankind, Jesus Christ our Lord, who gave himself as a ransom for all! Amen.

This Is My Father's World
Sometimes A Light Surprises
