Call To Worship (Psalm 1:1-2)
One:
Happy are those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path that sinners tread, or sit in the seat of scoffers;
All:
but their delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law they meditate day and night.
Collect
How it hurts us, Lord, when one is no longer among us, but we pray that with your Spirit we may show love to your new leaders, which you call out among us. Thank you, Lord, for all who dwell in our midst. We praise you this day. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Lord, we resolve to recognize your gifts in others, and to call them out guided by the wisdom of your Spirit. When we pause, when we hesitate, unsure how one of your servants will do, remind us to humbly recall that others have trusted us as well. We thank you for the wealth of talents you have strewn about this fellowship. Let them not be buried, but invested to your use that your kingdom may be multiplied and your glory magnified. These things we pray in your most holy name. Amen.

Come, all who that love the Lord, and let our joys be known!
Collect
All the world is hurting and hunting, yet all the world is hiding from you, Author of Our Salvation, Fount of Eternal Life. Our testimony is true -- we who have the Son have life. We who have the Son share life. Open our circle ever wider, Lord, bring down the barriers, break down our walls. All who seek Jesus, walk with us. We're hurting, we're hunting, but we're not hiding. Hallelujah, Jesus is risen! Hallelujah, Jesus is Lord! Amen.

(Unison) And this is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. We confess these things before all, that all might believe in the name of the Son of God, so that all may know Jesus and have eternal life. Amen.

Prayer Of Confession (based on Philippians 2:10-11)Prayer Of Confession (based on Philippians 2:10-11)
Lord of glory, we come before you this day, patient in our waiting, but hopeful as well that the day will dawn when your kingdom is established and you are fully present among us. In this time of waiting we pray that your presence among us in our worship will inspire us to draw all people to you, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Amen.
