A womanist, queer laborer for “The Jesus Project,” Kentina Washington-Leapheart earned her Master of Divinity degree from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in 2013. In addition to her M.Div., Kentina also holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio). She was ordained in The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries (TFAM) by Bishop Yvette Flunder in 2018. She is currently working as an independent consultant and writer, and most recently was a contributor to The Words of Her Mouth: Psalms for the Struggle (Pilgrim Press, 2020). Kentina shares her life with her wife, the Rev. Naomi Washington-Leapheart and their teenage daughter.
