Instructions
When the children come in, have each child choose two boxes and take them to their seats. Give children a piece of red construction paper and help them outline and cut out two hearts. They do not have to be the same size or shape, but they should be hearts. On each heart the children should write "Jesus is love." Have children put one heart in each of their boxes. Then wrap each box with paper, ribbon, and tape. When they have completed wrapping the boxes, they can give one of their boxes to someone else in the classroom. Children should have a box for themselves when they leave that day.
The second box that the children have is for them to give to someone else that they love. It can be a family member or a friend. When they give the box to the person, they need to tell them that the box is full of the love of Jesus and they want to share it with them. This way they will be sharing the love of Jesus with others.
