Object:
a "Thank You" card (If your church has a postcard of the
church, consider giving each child a postcard and asking each to
write a "thank you" note to someone within the church. See
"Sharing this week's Gospel Theme" section.)
When someone does something nice to me or for me, I like to
sit down and write a note to that person on one of these. These
are "thank you" cards. I send them to thank the person who did
the nice thing for me. It tells them that I am thankful for what
they did and for who they are.
One day Jesus healed ten people who had a very bad sickness.
It was a sickness that caused their skin to become very ugly.
People with this skin disease had to leave the town in which they
lived because no one else wanted to catch this sickness or
disease.
