In 1997, five Jewish students sued Yale University. You see, Yale requires all of its freshmen and sophomores to live in the dormitories on campus. But those five students sued Yale, saying that it is not right for the school to force them to live in that environment. The problem, they say, is that the dorms, which are coed, are a virtual Sodom and Gomorrah. They claim that to be forced to live in the dorms amounts to being forced to live in the midst of a sexual free-for-all.
