After the Gulf War, a soldier returned home only to be killed accidentally in a random act of inner city violence. As the investigation proceeded, however, it was determined not to have been quite so "accidental." Within a few weeks, the soldier's wife and her brother (his brother-in-law) were arrested for murder. It was suspected that the wife shot her husband in order to collect a large insurance payoff. The plot backfired, and instead of enjoying a large sum of money, both are being tried for murder. -- Schmitz
