Archaeologists excavate the ancient biblical sites. As they painstakingly unearth and dismantle a wall to a house, they often reflect on how thousands of years ago, someone else was painstakingly stacking stones and mudding or plastering the same wall for a house -- like Cornelius' house in which he gathered his family and friends to listen to Peter. If only those walls could talk and echo back to us the sound waves that filled those rooms! What traces of sacramental sound waves would the walls of your house echo?
