At a community college commencement...

At a community college commencement event, a keynote speaker was speaking to many excited middle-aged and older "second career" graduates who had to work harder than their younger student counterparts to earn their degrees. Thinking their days in education were complete, their facial expressions grew serious during the address. He told them that while they have worked very hard to arrive at this commencement event, they would now become "lifelong learners." The education they have now will need to be updated within five years.
