Concerning gentleness, Teri Thomas, a Presbyterian pastor in Indianapolis, tells this personal story in the Thursday Mail, the newsletter of National Capital Presbytery. Her 95-year-old grandmother was slowly succumbing to Alzheimer's disease, and seemed to remember less each time that Teri went to visit her in the nursing home.
