As customer service supervisor for Kunkle's Department Store, Bob had read letters like this before. Apparently, this particular customer had been a loyal longtime customer at the store. However, an unfortunate set of circumstances in their accounting department had made it necessary for this Mrs. Macy to write, explaining that she was severing her relationship with their store. She was requesting that her account be settled immediately so that she could look elsewhere for the kind of service she used to expect from Kunkle's.
