Dave had drifted through a number of jobs following college. He had tried his best to succeed, but for fifteen years could not find his rhythm or niche. After resigning another unhappy job experience, he went to work as a regional sales representative for a national company. Finally skills and experience clicked with the job requirements. He made more money in salary, commissions, and bonuses in eight months than he had in three years at his previous job. Just when things were going well, Dave severely broke his leg in a freak ski accident.
