Did you know that there have been more than 900 burial caves from around the time of Jesus that have been found in and around Jerusalem? Almost every one of them was sealed with a square-styled stone that fit into the entrance of the tomb like a champagne cork into a bottle. There have been four tombs discovered that used a round-shaped stone to seal the entrance. These round blocking stones were placed between two parallel stone walls and moved in a kind of track. This arrangement was rare in Jesus' day and would have been typical for only the wealthiest of Jewish families.
