The early disciples were not the only ones who were in prison and then left, declaring the words of Life and "We must obey God rather than men."
One thinks of those brave Christians, such as Martin Niemoller who stood up to Hitler even though it meant going to prison.
One thinks of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and his famous letter from the Birmingham jail, and others who were willing to go to prison as they obeyed God's law rather than civil law.
