Emphasis Preaching Journal

Easter brings us the good news of Christ's glorious resurrection. It also brings us a mandate:

--to care about human problems that most people ignore,

--to speak up for the downtrodden who are powerless to speak for themselves,

--to call for forgiveness when others call for vengeance,

--to give of our resources without asking "What's in it for me?"

--to be loyal to the rule of God when others have sold out to the idols of money and possessions.
