In her poem I Shall...

In her poem "I Shall Not Pass This Way Again," Eva Rose York describes the beautiful sights and sounds of nature that should be relished in the fleeting moment that one can experience them. She determines to praise the name of God from whose hand such wondrous beauty comes. Then, she turns her resolve to the people around her. Not wanting any opportunity to be lost, she says:
I shall not pass this way again;
Then let me now relieve some pain,
Remove some barrier from the road,
Or brighten someone's heavy load;
A helping hand to this one lend,
