Here's the message we've been waiting for. "The word of the Lord came to Jonah the second time." That's the most exciting and helpful statement in this biblical book. We can get our hooks into that one, can't we? God has something to do with second chances, a lot to do with them. His nature is too merciful to throw us the ball once and when we miss it to send us to the bench. He throws another ball and another one and my guess is that's not all. God's changed the rules; there are more than three strikes.
