In Hollywood, California ("sin city USA"?), is located a very interesting church. The Hope Lutheran Church building at the corner of Highland and La Brea housed a growing, thriving congregation. But one day the building mysteriously caught on fire and was totally destroyed. "Probably arson," they said.

A tough decision was made. We will not use one of the many theaters in the city to worship in temporarily. We will worship here. "Here" --without walls and without a roof, using metal chairs underneath crudely draped plastic tarps. This will be our witness.
