How come some things that look so easy to do turn out to be impossible? I remember as a youth being challenged to break a chicken's egg with my bare hands. The only proviso was, I had to hold it lengthwise in my hands, collapsing the egg in from the ends. I tried and tried, but found that fragile egg was a lot harder than it appeared. Or how about the challenge of folding a piece of paper in half 10 times? No problem, except that as the sheet of paper gets smaller, it gets thicker, and one simply has to give up.
