I once received a Christmas card containing a story I shall never forget. A woman, recently widowed, answered an ad in a newspaper in which a man was asking to borrow a boy for Christmas Day, just to feed him and give him some gifts. The writer of this ad turned out to be a man, recently widowed, who had also lost his little boy in a tragic accident. He wanted to fill the emptiness by sharing what he still considered to be his blessings with someone else.
