An ice-cream parlor...
Illustration
An ice-cream parlor manager from Bethesda, Maryland, named Nathan Peabody, received a phone call one night from someone who claimed to be a police officer. The caller told Peabody that the police department had a tip that his store would be robbed that evening. Furthermore, he would not be smart to act like a hero. When someone came to rob him, he should simply hand over the money because the police would be waiting outside and would nab him.
