The influential corporate executive is a peaceful man, on the surface at least. At home he boasts that nothing bothers him. When he feels stressed, he pops a tranquilizer or pours himself another drink. At work the influential corporate executive is the same. He is in control of the situation and does everything possible to guarantee that he remains in control. The company is efficient and prosperous. He is a fair man and tries to treat his employees justly. When he feels stressed, he pops a tranquilizer and pours himself a drink. The influential corporate executive drives himself back and forth to work. When he enters his car, a metamorphosis takes place. He tailgates, gives the finger, shouts obscenities, and weaves in and out of traffic. He is a menace on the road. When he is "in control," the influential corporate executive is smart enough and certainly capable. When he is not "in control," his true nature becomes painfully evident. He is anything but wise. Sooner rather than later, it will all catch up to him.
