It has been said of the human species that we are the first animal to have evolved to the point where we could stand on our hind legs and snatch worry out of thin air.

Susan typifies that definition. For the first six years of her marriage, she longed to get pregnant. She talked and worried constantly about it. She was convinced that God would never bless her with a child.
