It only took a couple of minutes for the people who worked with Jack to notice the difference in his attitude. He seemed annoyed with his secretary, defensive with the other managers and very distant to the rest of the staff. This was not the "easy come, easy go guy" that everyone seemed to enjoy being around. But most people were willing to accept the idea that everyone has one of those days once in a while. But the mood didn't seem to change over the next couple of days. He did his work. As a matter of fact, some people thought he did it better than before.
