Jhan Moskowitz was raised in the Bronx in New York City where he attended Talmud Torah (Hebrew School) every day. One December, while on his way home, he passed a cathedral which had on the front lawn a manger scene. Above it were the words, "Born is the King of Israel." He ran home and told his father, "Daddy, Daddy, someone made a big mistake. Our king is on their lawn!" Unfortunately, his father told him that the baby did not belong in front of the synagogue and that that king was not their king.
