John and Sarah had been married for over 25 years. They'd always had a good, strong marriage and neither of them ever considered stepping out on the other. Two years ago, they had a significant change in their work schedules and became like two ships passing in the night. John continued to work days and Sarah worked afternoons, so John was home alone every evening. That's when the trouble started. John began to resent Sarah's work schedule and began to feel sorry for himself. He started going out in the evening ... to bars, to coffee shops ... just to have some human contact.
