It's a good idea to ascend a mountain and look at the parorama below. Persons who do so are never quite the same afterward. The view from Pikes Peak, Colorado, was magnificent that morning in July. Not only could we see the ruggedness at the mountaintop, but also the trees below us at timber line. And in the valley to the east lay Colorado Springs, with fields beyond that. It was an awe-inspiring sight which literally hundreds of thousands of people have seen. We thought: What a place that would be to meet God!
