Laurie Beth gave her life...

Laurie Beth gave her life to Christ when she was seventeen years old. She asked Jesus to
send a ladybug whenever he thought of her. Whenever Laurie Beth would see a ladybug,
she would know Jesus was thinking of her at that very moment.
Twenty years later, Laurie Beth was in Ohio for a winter speaking engagement. The temperature was minus 17 degrees -- it was so cold. Laurie Beth asked herself what she was doing in that place. As she was driving to her speaking engagement a ladybug landed on her windshield. She immediately recognized that Jesus was with her and had not deserted her.
Five years later, she was speaking in Dallas, Texas. Laurie Beth was feeling alone in her hotel room. Just then a ladybug landed on the window. Again another reminder that Jesus was with her -- she was not alone. Over the years, ladybugs have appeared at unusual times and places reminding her that Jesus was with her. It is as if Jesus was telling her, "I see you, I love you, I'm here!"
Abram wanted some assurance from God, when he asked, "O Lord God, what will you give me...?" God's answer was to enter into a covenant which could not be broken.
